The Corolla Cross comes with gas or hybrid power. The hybrid, which has standard all-wheel drive, is EPA-rated at 42 mpg combined. The gas model is rated at up to 32 mpg combined with front-wheel drive. Prices start at $24,035 for the gas L FWD and $28,395 for the Hybrid S.

Toyota RAV4: The Versatile Compact SUV
The Toyota RAV4 is Toyota’s best-selling SUV. It’s slightly bigger at about 181 inches long. This compact SUV seats five and provides 37.6 cubic feet of cargo space, expandable to 69.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
The 2025 RAV4 offers gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid options. The plug-in model was renamed from RAV4 Prime to RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid for 2025. It delivers 302 net horsepower and a manufacturer-estimated 42 miles of electric-only range, and starts at $43,865. The gas RAV4 starts at $28,850 (LE FWD) and the RAV4 Hybrid at $31,900 (LE).
Note that an all-new 2026 RAV4 has since replaced this generation. Toyota offers it only as a hybrid or plug-in hybrid, so the 2025 model is the last RAV4 with a gas-only engine.

Cargo space is 27.7 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Toyota cut the 2025 bZ4X price by about $6,000, so it now starts at $37,070 (XLE FWD). The federal EV tax credit ended for vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025, so check state incentives instead. For 2026, Toyota renamed the updated model the bZ.

It’s available with a 2.4L turbo gas engine or as a hybrid. The Highlander Hybrid is EPA-rated at 35 mpg combined, and the gas model at up to 25 mpg combined. Prices start at $39,520 (LE FWD gas). For 2025, Toyota added a Limited 25th Edition Hybrid to mark the model’s 25th anniversary.

Edmunds lists the 2025 Sequoia SR5 at about $62,425 including destination. A new 1794 grade adds American walnut trim, massaging front seats and a panoramic roof for 2025. The EPA rates the Sequoia at 22 mpg combined (2WD) and 20 mpg combined (4WD).
