Write For Us

NextCarReview publishes independent, data-first automotive journalism. We work with freelance writers and industry specialists who can back every claim with a real source. If that sounds like you, here is exactly how to pitch us.

How It Works

  1. Pitch

Send a short pitch to our editors: the working title, the angle, and why it fits a data-first, independent review site.

  2. Draft

Once approved, write the full draft against our style and sourcing guidelines below. Cite primary data wherever a claim can be checked.

  3. Edit

Our editorial team reviews for accuracy, tone, and structure, and works with you directly on any requested changes.

  4. Publish

Your byline goes live with full author credit. We share it across our channels and it stays permanently attributed to you.

Editorial Guidelines

  • Original work only. No content published elsewhere, spun, or AI-generated without substantial original research and editing.
  • Back every factual or safety claim with a primary source โ€” EPA, NHTSA, IIHS, SAE, or the manufacturer โ€” not a secondary blog.
  • No manufacturer payment, sponsorship, or affiliate arrangement may influence a verdict. Disclose any relationship to the subject up front.
  • 1,200 words minimum for reviews and buying guides; shorter is fine for news and opinion pieces if the topic genuinely does not need more.
  • Write in plain, direct English. Short paragraphs, real numbers, no filler adjectives standing in for data.
