The 2025 Buick Envista Avenir is the top trim of Buick’s small, coupe-shaped crossover. Buick lists it at $28,600 before destination, which is $4,800 more than the base Preferred. It uses a 137-hp 1.2-liter turbo three-cylinder with front-wheel drive and is EPA-rated at 30 mpg combined. It is a lot of standard equipment for the money, but buyers who want all-wheel drive, quick acceleration or top crash-test scores should look elsewhere.

The main Avenir option listed by Buick is the Avenir Advanced Safety Package. It adds Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, heated power mirrors with a driver-side auto-dimming mirror, and rain-sensing wipers. Buick does not list its price on the trim page. A moonroof is also available. Since blind-zone and cross-traffic alerts are not standard, check the window sticker for this package.

Engine, Performance and EPA Fuel Economy

Every Envista uses the same powertrain. Buick’s specification sheet lists a 1.2-liter turbocharged, direct-injected three-cylinder making 137 hp at 5,000 rpm and 162 lb-ft from 2,500 to 4,000 rpm, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is not offered. The Avenir is the heaviest trim, with a curb weight of 3,115 lbs.

Fueleconomy.gov lists two 2025 Envista versions, a gasoline model and a flex-fuel model. Both are rated at 28/32/30 mpg on gas, and the flex-fuel version is rated at 22 mpg combined on E85. Both use engine stop-start. The Avenir also gets a Watts link rear suspension that is standard on this trim. Buick says it is meant to give a crisper ride and sharper handling than the basic setup. With 137 hp moving more than 3,100 lbs, the Envista is built for efficiency, not speed.

All trims use the same Ultrawide display layout: an 11-inch touchscreen next to an 8-inch driver information center, about 19 inches of combined screen, according to Buick’s launch release. Buick lists wireless smartphone integration and remote commands (remote start and door lock/unlock) as standard. The Avenir adds Avenir embroidery on the front head restraints, a distinctive front-seat stitch pattern, and a choice of Pebble Gray with Ebony accents or Ebony with Terra-Cotta accents.

Buick says the 40/60 split rear seat folds to fit items up to 7.5 feet long when loaded diagonally. The sloping roofline costs some rear headroom: Buick lists 37.3 inches in back versus 39.4 inches up front, both without a moonroof.
