The most exciting part is that the new Model Y Juniper will come out in two variants on two dates. According to Late Post, the first variant will be a five-seater option made available to the global market but will be produced at Giga Shanghai. This five-seater will be the model and configuration most of us anticipate, and the car will be rolling out to Europe and Asia first.
According to this report, the ETA for deliveries to take place in early 2025 has been set, which means that we can expect an announcement and reveal sometime later this year. A reasonable timeline and date for the unveiling could be between early and late December, wrapping up the year just before the holidays.
With this information, we can expect the same rollout release as we’ve seen with the Model 3. The Model Y Juniper will likely be delivered first to China and most parts of Europe, then to North America a few months after being built at Fremont and Giga, Texas. Additionally, a seven-seater upgraded Model Y Juniper will be exclusive to the Chinese market, with delivery starting in Q4 of 2025.
